Privately owned and run, on 30 hectares of riverine forest on the banks of the Chobe River in Northern Botswana. This small, owner managed lodge epitomises the hospitality of Africa. 11 thatched chalets on raised decks set beneath the spreading canopy of trees with lawns extending down to the river’s edge. Each en-suite chalet provides all that is needed to enjoy the natural surroundings in comfort.

Dining at Kubu Lodge, each meal is freshly prepared then savoured el fresco with views over the Chobe River and delightful birdlife for company.

Activities include Game Drives and Boat Cruises into the world renowned Chobe National Park – home to Africa’s single largest population of Elephant, a chance to experience this reserve’s amazing wildlife. Also offer cruises to the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi; day trips to Victoria Falls; visits to a working crocodile farm and guided tours of a reptile/snake/bird park.

We take our Social Responsibilities seriously and have been involved with our Community in various capacities throughout the years. Kazungula Children’s Ark Support Group, a Day Care Centre (pre-school) and Youth Library are located at Kubu Lodge.
