Letshego Holdings Limited is the first consumer lending company to be established in Botswana and is still the leading provider of unsecured credit to Botswana. Letshego Holdings Limited was set up to provide unsecured loans to formally employed clients.

The company began trading in September 1998 after being incorporated in March of the same year. Since September 2002 the company has been dealing directly with its clients, who are mainly employees of the central and local governments, parastatals or quasi government and some private companies.
