The Holiday Club was started in April 1999 with the intention of attracting members who would purchase points which would allow them access to the use of holiday accommodation upon paying their annual membership and reservation fees. The current shareholders are Musawenkosi Charity Sibanda and Leisure Vacation International. The company currently sells points to existing and new members and provides holiday accommodation to its members requesting to utilise these points. Membership has steadily increased over the years since inception.
