Liquid Giraffe was founded in 2006 and has grown significantly since then. Liquid Giraffe was born out of an experience of seeing journeys of giraffe galloping gracefully through the shallow waters of the Okavango Delta: giraffe in liquid motion – hence the company’s name. The giraffe also has the largest heart of all mammals, so Liquid Giraffe strives to offer all clients the experiences of Botswana 'from the heart'.

The mission of Liquid Giraffe is to provide an unparalleled and personalised booking service for visitors to Botswana and other select African countries, with an emphasis on service. Liquid Giraffe aims to ensure clients get only the best out of their time and investment. The company’s office is situated close to Maun Airport, where there is also an arts and craft centre selling gifts, crafts, curios and artefacts, all made wholly in Botswana as well as a range of cards, postcards and safari books
